2. PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT

During registration and participation, we may collect the following categories of data: • Identification data: full name, date of birth and nationality and, only where necessary for the performance of contracted services or compliance with applicable formalities, identification-document data. • Contact data: email address, telephone number and address. • Health data: only where strictly necessary for participant safety or emergency assistance and where collected through a specific procedure notified to the Participant. • Emergency contact: name and telephone number of a person to contact in the event of an accident or emergency. • Payment data: information necessary to process payments (bank-card data are not stored by the Organiser), where applicable. • Image and voice: photographs and video recordings, including aerial drone images, captured in the context of the Event. General or incidental Event images may be processed on the basis of the Organiser’s legitimate interests; individualised or highlighted uses, interviews or testimonials for promotional purposes require the Participant’s separate consent.

3. PURPOSES AND LAWFUL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

Management of registration, payment and communications with the Participant — performance of the participation contract. • Management of activity safety and response to emergencies — processing limited to what is necessary to protect Participants and provide assistance, in accordance with applicable data-protection law. Where health data are collected in advance, the Participant will receive specific information about that processing. • Compliance with legal and regulatory obligations applicable to the responsible entity and the activities carried out — legal obligation, where such obligation exists and applies. • Individualised or highlighted use of photographs, video, interviews or testimonials for Equator Crossing communications and promotion — Participant consent, in accordance with the separate Consent for Image Capture and Use document.

4. SHARING PERSONAL DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES

Personal data may be shared, strictly to the extent necessary, with the following entities:  Equator Crossing 2027 — Privacy Policy | 17 Sep. 2026 Equator Crossing 2027 — Privacy Policy | 17 Sep. 2026 • Accommodation providers used in the Programme, to the extent necessary for booking, accommodation and check-in. • Transport providers and other local suppliers necessary to perform the contracted services. • Insurers or assistance providers, where applicable and to the extent necessary. • Competent local authorities or entities, where disclosure is necessary for legal, operational or safety reasons. • Healthcare/medical assistance providers where assistance or emergency care is required. The Organiser does not sell or disclose personal data to third parties for marketing purposes unrelated to the Event.
